Assuming the weather models are correct, then a low cloud base on Sunday will make flying very unlikely. So, if you feel the urge to get your feet off the ground this weekend, Saturday looks a better bet – locally at least, you won’t need to worry should you forget to pack your map!

Sunday is the Welshpool Air Show – the MGC will have a stand there. Though with the low base, not sure how good the displays will be! http://www.welshpoolairshow.co.uk/
