I’m sure you’ve all noticed, but the forecast is rather good for the weekend – makes a change, eh!!
Sunday is the better day, with light northerly winds and decent cloud base. The perfect day for a wooden glider, I’d say. A Silver distance flight to Hay-on-Wye (HAY) or Hereford (HEC) should be on, and add in the return trip for your 100km diploma. I’m thinking about an O/R to the Blorenge (ABS).
Saturday should be OK too. Enough cloudbase and light west(ish) winds. The shower risk in earlier forecasts seems to have gone away. The day to do those checks you promised yourself you’d do and never quite got round to?
